Up to £22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Our Physiotherapy team in Derby currently have an opportunity for a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best. As part of the team you will have clinical support available from your Regional clinical lead along with Physiotherapists, with leadership from the management team on site.


As an Inpatient Physiotherapist you will be responsible for providing high quality care and rehabilitation for a variety of post-operative elective orthopaedic, women's health and breast patients, in line with our treatment protocols.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our post-operative patients.

As a Physiotherapist you will:

  • Deliver high quality, effective, and clinically reasoned care to meet our patient's needs.

  • Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes


To succeed as a Physiotherapist you will;

  • Have a BSc (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

  • Evidence of experience in orthopaedic inpatients.

  • Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.

  • Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.

  • Be a competent and confident IT user

  • Have the ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
