About the Role

We're looking for a Shift Manager to join the team in Burger King - a guest favourite for a quick bite to eat at lunch or evening snack. As a Shift Manager you'll be vital in helping our guest's create smiles - getting stuck in to give them memories that will last a lifetime! It's always showtime at Butlin's! You'll be part of a big team of people who are responsible for providing our guests with an altogether more fun and entertaining holiday. You will also be required to maintain Burger King standards and critical points at all times whilst on shift.

The purpose of this role is to:
*Role-model behaviour by leading the way as a visible presence in the venue, delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests
*Lead and develop the team with support of the manager
*Demonstrate effective communication and ensure your team are up to date with relevant information
*Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness within the team and the venue
*Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation
*With the support of the manager, have the ability to analyse key performance indicators (KPI's) to control food costs and labour
*Be able to follow and implement stock control systems to maximise gross profit margin

*Be an active part of the Burger King Manager Training Programme (all training is provided)

We're looking for candidates who:

*Are passionate about delivering fantastic food and great service, putting the guests first in all you do
*Are all about about delivering exceptional experiences to guests by training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment
*Have an eye for detail and the ability to deliver consistent brand standards
*Have experience of working in a leadership role in a quick service or volume-driven food environment and thrive on achieving both short and long term goals
*Level 2 in Food Hygiene is essential, Level 3 Food Hygiene is desirable 
*Knowledge of stocktaking, labour control and health and safety practises in busy catering environments
*Hold a personal license (desirable)
*Thrive when working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
*Are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests and visitors
*We believe that your experience in a similar role will mean that you understand systems and processes such as labour budgets, food safety and health & safety, stock taking and delivering a positive gross profit

Typical working hours: working 40 hours per week, five days over seven including weekends. The role has a wide variety of shift patterns between 8am and 2am on a permanent contract, paid monthly.
