The Head Chef at Party Ingredients will operate at the CPU where group purchasing takes place and all food is prepared before being cooked on site at events. When not at events, they will be based at the CPU ensuring high quality food, in line with the client expectation, is being produced at all times.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To take full responsibility of the management and motivation of the kitchen team, including Kitchen Porters.
  • To lead the food production for all events, cold larder and pastry.
  • To manage all HACCP policies and all aspects of Health and Safety within the kitchen.
  • To take full responsibility of the quality of food being produced.
  • To be the main liaison organising the food being dispatched to each event.


Experience and skills required:

  • Formal culinary training.
  • At least 3 years' kitchen experience in high end events and across multiple outlets, managing a team.
  • Previous production and event work.
  • Training to Level 3 Food Safety Management via NCASS or equivalent.
  • Enthusiasm and dynamic kitchen leader.
  • Have experience managing HACCP.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills.
