Assistant Financial Controller - The Belfry - Finance & Admin

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at The Belfry Hotel and Resort, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. The Assistant Financial Controller will support the Financial Controller in maintaining an efficient finance function. This role will ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely, financial controls are robust whilst also assisting with the day to day operation of the accounts department.

Salary

The on target earning potential for this role ranges from £28288 to £30788 annual salary, compromising of a base rate of £26000 to £28500 plus a qualified estimate of £2288 gratuities annually.

The duties of our Assistant Financial Controller include;

·        To produce monthly management accounts to Trial Balance.

·        To support the team with cash management, accounts payable, debtors ledger, payroll and event billing

·        To constantly review internal financial controls, monitor and communicate any weaknesses and deliver solutions

·        To assist with internal and external audits

Our Assistant Financial Controller will;

·        Experience in a hotel or hospitality finance function is essential

·        Possibly part qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification

·        Be commercially astute, articulate, dynamic, insightful and influential leader

·        Exceptional communication skills at all levels

·        An interest in IT and data management
