Internal Recruiter - Soho, Central London (W1), W1D 7AZ

We have the opportunity for an imaginative and determined Recruiter to join our internal recruitment team for The Cocktail Club and Barrio!

This job IS NOT just screening CVs and arranging interviews…it’s MUCH MORE than that. This is a dynamic and varied position, filled with exciting recruitment projects and the chance to leave your mark in a growing business.

Here’s what I’m talking about:

  • By reporting into our newly appointed Recruitment and Employer Branding Manager. You will assist him in creating and streamlining new and unique recruitment processes tailored to each brand of bars.
  • You will be part of a team of x3 recruiters who together look after three different brands. Your focus will be supporting the recruitment for on site junior managers across The Cocktail Club, Barrio and Adventure Bar. But we’re a team, so we all help and inspire each other!
  • The General Managers of each bar and the Operations Managers of the brans will be your stakeholders. You will act as a support for filling their junior management vacancies and at time assisting with their hourly positions also. Screening applications, arranging trial shifts, assisting with onboarding and most importantly, ensuring our processes are fair and consistent throughout the different venues.
  • You will recruit for a range of junior management and hourly staff members within the late-night business.
  • You’ll take part in Open Days and Job fairs. Where you’ll need to have the charisma and presence to act as a brand ambassador for the company.
  • You won’t be static working only from a boring office, but you’ll be encouraged to work from our sexy bars around the city! Building friendships with our managers and teams on the front line.
  • Some days you’ll start later and finish later, some days you’ll want to get in extra early to finish those long admin duties and finish early before rush hour. What matters is how hard we work and we do what needs to be done to be the best internal recruitment team in the industry!

Who is our ideal recruiter?

  • At least x2 years’ experience within an external or an in-house recruitment role.

  • Experience hiring for managers in the hospitality sector.
  • Have you ever worked as a bartender, waiter or even a restaurant/bar manager? We need a strong and relatable understanding of working in the hospitality industry.
  • Creative, fearless and passionate!
  • Prior experience using a range of job boards specialised in the hospitality industry.
  • Confident in writing catchy and structured job adverts
  • Experience in hosting recruitment open days and attending job fairs.
  • Someone driven and independent, that also enjoys the comraderie of being part of a team.
  • With different bars and their varied needs, you’ll have to be extremely organised and capable of multi-tasking.

Apply now to hear more!

We’ll then grab a drink and get to know each other. Let’s make sure that this role truly speaks to you!

Company

The Cocktail Club didn’t become one of London’s most prestigious bar experiences overnight. In fact, our story started way back in 2008, when childhood friends JJ Goodman and James “Hoppy” Hopkins, with nothing more than a small loan from JJ’s mum, Lizzie, decided to change the London bar scene. Armed with a world-class drinks menu, years of cocktail expertise, and a passion for nightlife artistry, they came together to open the Covent Garden Cocktail Club.

From that moment onwards, a little local site with a lot of heart soon blossomed into one of London’s most booming bars. Aided by their victory on the 2009 UK television program, The Restaurant, which featured Raymond Blanc and Dragons’ Den’s Sarah Willingham, The Cocktail Club began to revolutionise the London cocktail scene.
