Educated Body is a health and fitness company that operates in a niche sector, luxury residential developments. We are working on some of the highest profile property projects in the UK. Our job is to run luxury health clubs and spas. This means delivering the highest levels of customer service, alongside group exercise sessions, personal training, treatments, and wider wellbeing services.

We do not just manage sites; we consult on their development and design, and we supply specialist equipment too. We are a flexible, agile, and fast-growing company where our good people will get promoted. We are opening lots of new sites and we need managers. We will train you and support you to grow with us. The work bit

5* Leisure Management company operating high-end luxury residential developments across London is now recruiting for Lifeguards in the Vauxhall, South West London location! The role of a Lifeguard is to supervise the pool and carry out rescues as required. You will also assist in managing the daily operation of the leisure facility, that sit within the private estate. The beautiful leisure facility hosts a Gym with unrivalled top of the range equipment , a stunning Swimming Pool with a Sauna/ Spa, an extensive Group Exercise programme, Personal Training, Beauty Therapy rooms, plus areas for relaxation.

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents, guests and external contractors at the development and will be the first and main point of contact for all queries within the Club. Your key day-to-day duties involve ensuring all pool users are safe and in a welcoming environment, adhering to the health and safety procedures of the Club, general poolside cleaning and reporting into the Duty Manager. The job is a blend of operational duties, lifeguarding and front of house. This unique hybrid position of Lifeguard/Front of House offers great career progression into leisure management, with further training opportunities available such as Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

We are recruiting for this job on various contract lengths: 16hr, 24hr, 32hr and 40hour contracts available.

Some things we need you to have (but they might not be deal breakers)

• NPLQ Lifeguard Certificate
• Experience within a similar role working in a 5* environment
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required
• Most importantly, you will need all the traits that make you destined for greatness! We want future managers so you will need to be a good communicator, a good organiser, someone with resilience, someone willing to learn. We will help and we will train you, but to use a tech analogy, you will need the hardware for us to load the software. You get the picture!
