At our beautiful Dunston Hall hotel, we are seeking a Club Steward for our Bunkers Bar.  Our 18-hole USPGA-rated course where we currently have over 600 golf members includes a 22-bay floodlit driving range, a large, short game area and even a footgolf course.  Providing food and drink on the terrace overlooking the course. 

What will I do? 

• Be involved in all areas of F&B including the bar, serving as well as working in the kitchen with food preparation and cooking
• Look after event bookings
• Running member meal nights
• Themed & quiz nights
• Ensuring the members are looked after at all times
• Other duties across the club house as and when required

Is this the role for me? 

• Ideally you will have previous experience working in a similar role within a golf club, although not essential
• High volume experience, ideally within a busy pub environment, garden centre restaurant or equivalent
• Basic food preparation & cooking experience
• Bar experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced and challenging environment 
• Can demonstrate a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues 
• Able to work on own initiative as well as working within a team 
• Due to the nature of the role and the industry, flexibility is required to working hours as weekend and evening work will be required
