Executive Lounge Host/ess
This position is for Full time (39hours/week) Hourly rate: £11/hour plus incentives A fully refurbished contemporary 248 room hotel next to iconic Tower Bridge in the heart of historic London. Its location between the HMS Belfast and the Shard makes it a well-known and ideal accommodation for business travellers and families. The hotel boasts 2 floors of modern meetings and events spaces with views over More London estate. Its main restaurant, called 1751, offers a mixture of modern British and International cuisine. In addition, the Two Ruba bar provides a wide range of sophisticated and expertly crafted cocktails and drinks for the guests. This endeavour for a perfect service makes employment in the hotel an outstanding career opportunity for every hospitality professional who wants to learn new tricks or extend existing skills. Welcome Executive Guests to the Lounge and assist them efficiently with enquiries
Prepare set ups for tables
Ensure that all Guest supplies and amenities are offered and replenished to the required standards
Ensure Executive Lounge area is prepared and ready for service
Be responsible for smooth functioning of operation in Executive Lounge i.e. Evening Canapés service, happy hour, etc.
Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Execute tasks as instructed by the Executive Lounge Supervisor or Manager
Ensure compliance of brand standards
Strive to achieve departmental targets
Ensure cleanliness of work areas
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Comply with local licensing laws
Be environmentally aware

Previous Front Office or F&B experience in the hotel, leisure or retail sector
Calm, efficient and organised
Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service

Previous experience in Executive Lounge in a hotel environment
Previous Front Office or F&B experience in the hotel, leisure or retail sector
