Mortimer House is looking for a natural people person, expert cocktail crafter, and outstanding Assistant Bar Manager, and most importantly, a person with a great amount of flare to lead our beverage offering within Mortimer House.

Mortimer House offers our members an exclusive bar on our rooftop, that plays host to the magnificent London skyline, our members lounge where day time coffees and work lunches turn into business drinks, and our public facing restaurant, Mortimer House Kitchen, smouldering in Art Deco charm, serving southern italian food, all where our members and guests can sit back and take in a lovingly crafted cocktail or crisp glass of wine, all while being surrounded in our teams effortless charm.

Your Assistant Bar Manager Role:

You will be vibrant and passionate about exciting our guests. A natural people person, you will be engaging, have a thirst for excellence and keep abreast of changing trends. A leader and teacher, willing to share your gift with your team. You will offer a fun and relaxed atmosphere to guest and team alike, to deliver on outstanding beverage offering at Mortimer House.

• Understands the heritage of wines, beers and spirits and shares that knowledge and passion
• Innovative and looks for new ways to delight our guests
• Ability to pair great beverages with our outstanding food
• Experienced in management of a multifaceted beverage offering
• A great communicator that manages their time well
• Eager to learn develop in the business and their team
• Thirst for knowledge and is a proactive to deliver on budgets and projects
• Excellent product knowledge
• Charismatic and engaging
• Proven experience of being able to create and implement cost effective menus
• 2 Years experience at a Head Bartender / Senior Bartender or Assistant Bar Manager level
• Experience managing multioffering beverage venues, including event spaces
• Demonstratable problem solving skills
• Personal licence holder (Desirable)
