Job title: Conference and Events Sales Executive

Location: Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Buckinghamshire

Job type: Permanent

Working Hours: 20 to 39 hours per week

Salary: £22,000 per annum + Commission + Excellent benefits

 

Here at Stoke Mandeville Leisure our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Conference and Events Sales Executive to join the centre.

 

Stoke Mandeville Stadium is the National Centre for Disability Sport and boasts the highest grade of facilities for our leading sportsmen and women. 

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Services Manager in the promotion, sale and delivery of conference and events at the centre. To follow the appropriate sales manual which outlines the system, procedures, processes, and standards to be employed at the facility in the delivery of functions, events, and conferences.

 

You must be able demonstrate the ability to multitask with inbound and outbound sales calls being made and at the same time as capturing essential booking information for the site teams to deliver on the products and services booked. This role will primarily be orientated toward commercial bookings such as meeting rooms and event sales.

 

You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts, and excellent development opportunities.

 

 

What You Need to do the Job

 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Stoke Mandeville, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required and are confident using a computer. 

  

To be considered for this role you will also have previous sales / leisure experience.
