Car Park Attendant - Hampton
David Lloyd - car park attendant Purpose of role:Attends designated parking area - parking entrance/exit during designated hours. Directs drivers of vehicles to appropriate parking areas. Monitors to ensure cars are parked in designated spaces and not blocking traffic flow. Support and help members if required.Examples of Duties: Provides assistant and support to members in finding suitable spaces around the car park, direct traffic flow and ensure safe operation of entrance and exit barrier Completes accident or incident forms required by club Counts parked vehicles and notes any left or unauthorised cars from overnight or nursery etc.
Provides directions, parking alternatives and club upon request to members, guests and contractors .
Notifies reception or SM via two-way radio if assistance required.
Watches for suspicious activity and reports such to the senior manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of general parking practices and procedures.
Skill in courteous communication with public.
Skill in following verbal and written instructions. Minimum Qualifications: Six months' parking lot operations or related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
