Location – Foundation, Community, Berkshire & Buckinghamshire - Uxbridge College, Park road, Uxbridge. UB8 1NQ

Hours – 40 hours per week, full time fixed term

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking a coach to join the Foundation with a strong focus on delivering high quality activity across all the available hours contracted. Duties include:

  • Delivering safe, inclusive and high quality coaching sessions on a daily basis across the core programmes currently running. These to include, but not limited to all In-School and Out of School activity, Player Development Programme activity, and the various activity delivered during the school holidays.
  • Supporting the team in developing the area network to create additional sporting opportunities to further enhance the delivery programme.
  • Deliver on activity to support, develop and enhance the relationships with local youth football clubs/schools/organisations/leisure centres/local authority.
  • Supporting sessional staff through relevant training and mentoring opportunities.
  • To carry out duties relevant to legislation and Foundation policies and procedures.
  • To undertake any Foundation activities that maybe required in addition to the role.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

  • A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification. (FA Level 1 is the equivalent qualification).
  • In date FA Safeguarding Children course & the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certificate.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Been involved in community/grass roots sports as a participant or coach.
  • Worked as part of a team within a sporting environment.
  • Good communication and organisation skills.
  • Ability to organise and motivate team members.
