Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Fitness Instructor who can provide excellent customer service to join our team at Woughton Leisure Centre.

As a Fitness Instructor your role will be critical in ensuring our facilities are open, clean and safe, as well as ensuring equipment is working. Applicants will be required to hold a minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification; you will be able to work on your own initiative & play an integral part of the team who follow a quality management system. A Level 3 Personal Training qualification would be desirable for this role, allowing you to increase your earning potential through PT.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering Inductions to members
• Delivering gym floor classes
• Monitoring our Junior Gym sessions
• Providing social media content to engage with our members
• Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of all our customers
• Providing a professional, friendly and welcoming service to all customers
• Setting up centre activities in a timely manner
• Pro-actively carrying out daily checks and cleaning to ensure standards are met
• Maintaining full product knowledge of the services at our centre.
• Working as an important member of the 1Life team and helping to assist managers and leisure staff on a daily basis
• Delivering world class training to 1Life members who purchase PT

Flexibility towards the hours and role are essential as you will be required to work on a shift-rota basis including early mornings, evenings and some weekends.
