About a role:

As a Head Chef, you will be vital in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests.

As a member of the senior team, you will manage the broader operations of the department, as well as make strong relationships with your colleagues/team and build a network of colleagues. This is a great chance to broaden your experience!

Outline Job Description:

Our Head Chef is vital in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests.

  • Recruit, drive and develop a strong kitchen team to produce high-quality products and maximise profit.
  • Ensure team compliance with all food safety requirements.
  • To ensure Service delivery of food for core standard menus, as set down by dish specification.
  • Procedures and legal requirements for fire, safety, hygiene and security must be adhered to at all times.
  • Team Members to be trained in safe working practices and their legal responsibilities.
  • The company and legal requirements maintain appropriate records.
  • To ensure business efficiency through the maximisation of IT systems: e.g. Procure Wizard, Rota
  • Horizon, Intranet.
  • Food stock must be controlled through correct ordering, storage and production in line with business and legal requirements.
  • To adhere to core standards on menu descriptions, training and focussing the team on presentation, cooking specs and food costs.
  • To effectively manage the team’s performance, liaise with HR to ensure a positive outcome.
  • To undertake any other duties that the management may reasonably request.

This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.

Min 2 years of experience as a Senior Sous Chef.
