Eastwell Manor is a luxury Spa Hotel set in the picture-perfect countryside in Kent, the heart of the Garden of England. We boast 75 bedrooms, our luxurious spa incorporates 21 treatment rooms, a 3000 square foot gym and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. We’re found in the middle of 65 acres of pristine countryside, a 10 minute taxi from Ashford international train station and minutes from the Ashford / Kennington bus routes. Onsite accommodation is available for short or long term use if relocation is required.

As the Assistant Wellbeing and Fitness Manager, you will play a key role within the Champneys family and will be responsible for assisting the manager in the day to day running of the fitness department and the club facilities with a personal interest in all club members and residential guests.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

  • You will be a visible presence on the shop floor, carrying out classes, personal training sessions and educational talks as set by the Fitness Manager.
  • You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the enjoyment and welfare of guests and members in accordance with the Company’s health and safety policy and current legislation.
  • Assist in designing the goals and objectives by implementing the necessary policies and procedures and communicate it to the staff members
  • Review the staffing requirement with the manager and promptly hire fitness trainers and provide them with the necessary training
  • Communicate with the clients constantly and understand their needs so that new programs can be designed to improve it
  • Implement promotional club campaigns, sales initiatives and conduct personal training sessions that would be able to attract more clients, thus increasing the overall sales of the facility

As the Assistant Wellbeing and Fitness Manager, you will have significant previous leadership experience in a role in the fitness and wellbeing industry, providing high quality customer service. You will have an equivalent of a REPS 3 gym instructor qualification plus a minimum of one of the following: Group Exercise related qualification, Personal Training Award or Sports/Fitness related Degree.
