The Role
We are looking for a Project Delivery Lead to join our growing change function, leading the delivery and execution of multiple business change initiatives. You will be responsible for driving forward three divisional project portfolios, ensuring that agreed projects are delivered and successfully embedded into the business to realise their target benefits. Reporting into the Group Head of Change, you will work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO), Head of Business Analysis and your team of Project Managers to ensure consistent & effective project execution, governance and control.This role offers a hybrid mix of working from our London Bridge office and from home. 

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a defined and prioritised business change roadmap, typically change initiatives with a tech component that impact our guests, restaurant operations and/or back-office systems. 


* Manage the successful delivery of all projects, ensuring appropriate project governance, via agreed processes and systems.
* Motivate, lead and develop a high performing project management team.
* Be responsible for development / maintenance of a portfolio plan to provide oversight of critical dependencies between projects and associated risks and issues.
* Work with the Head of Change to ensure that the change roadmap is resourced, planning out resources and scaling the PM team appropriately to ensure capacity to deliver all agreed initiatives.
* Ensure projects are being managed within approved budgets and work with the Head of Change to maintain accurate financial reporting.
* Provide appropriate and regular reporting to senior stakeholders - typically via status updates and periodic steerco sessions. 
* Ensure that all projects are delivered to defined and agreed quality standards.
* Take a proactive approach to identifying potential project risks and anticipated points of resistance. Work with team to remove obstacles and develop mitigation plans.
* Work closely with the Head of Business Analysis to ensure that business requirements are understood and appropriately documented 
* Deputise for the Group Head of Change where required

Required Experience
* A track record of delivering business change initiatives in a fast-moving environment (ideally multi-brand leisure, hospitality, or retail)
* Experience in managing multiple resources across a diverse range of projects -this role would suit an experienced Senior PM or Junior Programme Manager looking to take a step into a business leadership role
* You will have previously led projects with significant digital/tech components
* Proven experience in leading and building teams
* Skilled at financial and business planning
* A recognised professional project programme management qualification would be helpful but is not necessary.
