Hospitality Assistant -

We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant at Shepherd & Wedderburn.

Location: Edinburgh City Centre

Rate of pay: £9.90 per hour

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Job Purpose

To provide a friendly, warm and knowledgeable service to all customers. To work asdirected to prepare food service areas and the venue in an attractive manner in linewith the client requirements for the event.Key responsibilities and accountabilitiesFood Service

• Serve all food to the highest standard and in line with the CH&CO style using thecorrect tools and presentation techniques.

• Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner and to the CH&CO standard.• Assist in the preparation of tables and to ensure all cutlery and glassware ispolished.

• To assist with any food preparation in kitchen to the CH&CO standard as required.• Keep the service areas clean, tidy and presentable in line with the standards.

• Clean and wash up equipment, kitchen and service areas as necessary to complywith cleaning schedules.Customer Service

• To present and maintain a professional and friendly image with the client andcustomers at the relevant event.

• Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful manner.

• Provide information to customers about the food in a knowledgeable andinformed manner.

• Work with all colleagues in a polite and helpful way to ensure excellent customer service
