Kitchen operating hours are 12pm-1am 7 days a week, therefore applicants will often be required to work evenings & into the night-time, during weekdays and at weekends. We can consider your availability in line with our business needs, but this is not your average 9-5 and we are looking for Team to work flexibly, to meet the needs of our customers.


Job Description

A Chef De Partie is an integral part of the kitchen team and takes a first step into hospitality leadership. CDP's are expected to be able to set up and manage a section during a busy service period, and also comfortably prepare and deliver the all-day menu to a high standard under their own initiative.

You will;

  • Take responsibility for food production and service in the kitchen as and when required by the head chef, taking a proactive approach to cooking, plating, and sending cuisine
  • Always focuses on the detail - if it's not right, don't send it.
  • Ensure the kitchen is operating efficiently, with wastage minimised at all times, junior team members are working effectively, and service times are consistently achieved.
  • Maintain exacting brand standards in the production and service of food.
  • Provide a prompt, high quality and consistent level of food and service to customers always.
  • Reflect and act upon any customer feedback in a constructive manner.
  • A keen advocate of providing an exceptional experiences to all our guests, always striving to improve how we operate.
  • Support junior team members from both kitchen and front of house so the exacting standards expected are understood, taking action to maintain these standards and helping to improve colleagues' capabilities when required.
  • Act as a kitchen team advocate, always supporting the team's professional development and welfare needs.
  • Build clear delegation of authority in the kitchen, so when not on shift organisation, standards and performance are consistent.
  • Comply with health & safety, food saferty and hygeine procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation setting
  • Flexible in working shifts and as per business requirements
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
  • Food safety basic level 2 certification, or currently working towards it


Additional Information

Starting Salary is 11.41 per hour (23,732 per year - based on 40hr contract)
