The opportunity
Nuffield Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join the team at Leeds Hospital. You will see a wide range of neurological conditions and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including fitness professionals and clinicians to optimise the health of our patients.

The person

To succeed as a senior physiotherapist, you will need to:

*Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient's needs in both out-patient and in-patient settings
*Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided
*Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes

As well as:

• Recognised advanced practice

• Specialist, senior level, post-registration experience gained through formal training required to meet registration requirements.

• Demonstrable specialist experience as a Subject Matter Expert

• Significant postgraduate experience including extensive musculoskeletal experience

• CPD portfolio reflecting a wide range of Physiotherapy experience with a focus on neurological conditions

• Experience of working in the UK healthcare sector

• Must be physically fit enough to meet the demands of the role

Be able to demonstrate appropriate clinical reasoning skills in relation to:

• Being able to work independently.

• Being able to work in both the hospital and community settings safely and independently.

• Neurological physiotherapy initial assessment skills.

• Neurological physiotherapy intervention skills.

• Working with an MDT and completing inter-disciplinary working.

Essential Requirements:

HCPC registered

BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy

At least 2 years experience specialising in neurology related rehabilitation
