The Role:

Weekend Receptionist

We are currently advertising for a Receptionist to cover Saturdays between 1pm-8pm.  There is also the option to cover holiday and sickness cover if available. The ideal candidate will work comfortably in a team but also be capable of working to a high standard through their own initiative.  As a first point of contact for our guests you will need a friendly and approachable nature and have impeccable customer service standards.

Whilst training will be given you should be competent at using basic IT systems.  During the hours you work you will be responsible for our online booking system for the Hotel, taking restaurant reservations and all general inquiries. You will coordinate all incoming emails and ensure that payments and accounts are settled. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration of Hotel invoices, reservations and general inquiries
  
• Candidates will need to be smart and friendly – Well presented with a professional and approachable manner, you will be able to stay calm and courteous, even through the busiest shifts. 
• As a receptionist you will need to be well organised.  Multitasking and prioritising customer requests and tasks will be part of your job, and all the while ensuring you work in a neat and tidy way, ensuring our customer service standards are upheld.
  
• There is lots to learn in this position and whilst training will be given, the successful applicant will be motivated and eager to start learning our systems and welcoming customers.
