Working Hours: Rostered hours to cover operational hours between 6am to 10.30pm Mon to Fri and weekends 7.30am to 5.30pm

Positions Available: Market Drayton Swimming and Fitness Centre (Full-Time and Part-Time), The Quarry Swimming and Fitness Centre (Full-Time), Oswestry Leisure Centre(Part-Time) and Shrewsbury Sports Village (Part-Time)

Are you a proactive person, who likes to manage a team?

As the Duty Officer, the purpose of your role is to manage the facility on a day to day basis ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the priority. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction as well as the deployment and supervision of the operational team. In addition, the role will involve taking control and responding in the event of any emergency.

What you'll need to do the role

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required and are confident using a computer. You will be outgoing, friendly and not shy from speaking with members of the public, have bags of motivation, be a self-starter and will be willing to go the extra mile for customers and fellow colleagues when required.

As you will at times be doing Lifeguarding duties, having an NPLQ qualification and pool plant is desirable for this position, however we can provide the qualification for the right candidate.
