Hilton Cobham are recruiting now for an Events Planner to join our sales team

Please do note this role is based at Hilton Cobham, which is located in Surrey, therefore relocation to the area would be needed.

An Events Planner plans and executes promotional, business and social events. The duties include meeting with prospective clients to understand their needs, hiring venues and organising transport for guests.

What will I be doing?

    Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue Manage an events schedule to maximise yield Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events Participate in hotel promotional activities

 

What are we looking for?

    A Passion for delivering great customer service Enjoys working as part of a team A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills Outstanding administration and organisational skills There is no specific education or qualification required for this job
