Are you looking for a stepping stone to cement your HR / CIPD qualifications and the opportunity to specialise longer-term?

Our Home Office People Business Partner's play a crucial role in our head office, being accountable for the professional and consistent implementation of our HR  / People activities in their designated business area/s, supporting the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Business Partner.

Your Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting local change activity and post-implementation reviews
  • Analysing and interrogating data to develop insights that can then be presented to drive data led decisions across functions
  • Supporting the Senior HR Business Partners and HR Business Partners in planning projects / discrete pieces of work driven by business need
  • Driving effective communication by advocating and actively supporting communication initiatives such as listening groups
  • Supporting and coach managers to deliver people plans throughout the year
  • Driving colleague performance through the line
  • Support with completion of People processes, including relevant documentation to support ad hoc activities such as exceptional pay requests, OD charts, headcount plans etc

About You

  • You'll need to be organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be responsible for keeping colleague's up to date and engaged, as well as building strong relationships and networking.
  • You will be confident in challenging at all levels, with a 'can-do' attitude and a proactive approach, role modelling the Asda values in everything you do.
  • You'll have an enthusiastic attitude and be a strong coach, mentor and motivator as well as role model to the colleagues and managers around you.
  • A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
