We are currently looking for a Cluster Director of Sales for the Country Clubs and North West.  The role covers; Marriott Worsley Park, Marriott Forest of Arden, Marriott St Pierre, Marriott Tudor Park, Marriott Breadsall Priory, Liverpool Marriott, Preston Marriott & Manchester Airport Marriott.

This position is a key member of the Cluster Executive Team and functions as the sales leader within the cluster.  This role provides strategic direction and commercial vision within the executive team and aligns participating hotel sales teams accordingly.

The Director of Sales - Cluster develops and drives key sales initiatives and ensures cluster-wide implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategy and programs for hotels in the designated cluster, and is directly responsible for the sales performance of those hotels.

The Director of Sales - Cluster provides leadership to the sales associates within the cluster holding the team accountable to achieve hotel targets and assigned revenue goals through optimum account management, conversion and new business generation.  The Director of Sales - Cluster demonstrates a strong understanding of mix management and associated strategies.

This leader works in partnership with the Field Sales Team and the other cluster discipline leaders to achieve common goals and develops and manages all stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, taking a leading role in all owner relationships. 

The Cluster Director of Sales - Cluster takes an active role in talent development and succession planning ensuring optimal organizational effectiveness.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: 

Education and Experience

Education or Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management preferred

Experience 

  • At least 3 years' experience; on property or above property sales experience - preferably in the UK Market

 

Other Contributing Factors 

  • Multi-property experience is desirable.
  • The role requires flexibility in working hours and location and the ability to manage time and resources across a large geographical area       
  • Property industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance. 
  • Travel Requirements:  Moderate travel required within the cluster as necessary to support hotels.
