Spa Experience is hiring experienced Senior Spa Therapists to join our team across our six unique spas in London and Surrey. We offer a truly distinctive concept in that as well as providing the peaceful, calm haven that you would expect from a day spa, our spas are also the UK's first public sector spas - this means that we can make relaxing, therapeutic and beauty treatments accessible and affordable.
As a Senior Spa Therapist with Spa Experience you'll have the opportunity to work in some exclusive settings such as Ironmonger Row Baths, York Hall and Epsom spa as well as with some of the best products around such as Elemis, Murad, Jessica, Fake Bake and La Sultane de Saba.
We're looking for therapists with excellent customer service skills, who have the ability to make each and every one of our customers feel comfortable and special. You'll be able to deliver exceptional treatments from waxing to facials and body treatments and ensure that the spa is well maintained, clean and presentable.
You should have extensive spa experience, with knowledge and understanding of both treatments and product ranges, with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and a First Aid at Work qualification. You'll have supervisory experience, including mentoring other team members, and also be able to operate the business aspects of a spa environment such as reception, sales, stock control and managing promotions and budgets.
In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:
Pension schemes
Ride to work scheme
Discounted membership at our leisure centres
The opportunity to join the GLL Society and have a say in how we're run plus associated social events
Career pathways
Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best
If you're passionate about what you do and believe in our social ethos of accessibility and affordability to all, then apply now.
All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location. To be shortlisted for the role, internal applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to GLL by becoming a Society member where eligible.
