ROLE: Breakfast Chef – Audrey’s, Union Street, London Bridge

SALARY: £32k plus service, full time 7am-4pm.

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus Bank Holidays annually, increasing to 28 days after 2 complete years. An extra day to enjoy celebrating your birthday!

REPORTS TO: Head Chef

Audrey’s is a brand new, bright and bustling all-day café and restaurant situated on a vibrant pedestrian square in London’s historic Bankside. We are looking for a talented Breakfast Chef with a passion for the culinary world, who enjoys working with seasonal and fresh food and wants to develop their career within our kitchen.

 

Duties will include:

Take control of the breakfast service and ensure guests receive a truly delicious and memorable breakfast.

Cooking and managing breakfast service and assisting with lunch service.

Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen after breakfast.

Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.

Make sure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.

  • Monitor and ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

Requirements

As our Breakfast Chef we would love you to have:

  • At least 1 year kitchen experience as a Breakfast Chef and/or working in a busy kitchen
  • A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety, food hygiene, COSH and HACCP legislation. Food Hygiene training up to Level 3 included with the role.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude and be an excellent team player.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment.
