Job Description

The responsibility

  • Work in collaboration with the Head of marketing in all of the marketing strategies and activities for Football each season, driving brand and commercial growth.
  • Manage the planning and delivery of the 360 marketing campaigns from ideation to building integrated launch plans with corresponding budgets, KPI's and deadlines.
  • Build outstanding relationships and collaborate with the internal teams, including- PR, social, digital marketing, ecomm, email and retail to deliver campaigns across Sports Direct owned channels.
  • Be the gatekeeper to performance seasonal calendar, campaign plans and launches, ensuring they are communicated through the business and delivered by each department.
  • Communicate, align and brief relevant stakeholders on seasonal kick-offs, launches and commercial priorities 
  •  Attend seasonal sell-in meetings with our commercial team + brand partners to align on priorities + product buys for the seasons ahead.
  •  Work with the marketing analyst to produce post campaign wrap-up presentations for the business + all brand partners that have invested in the campaign.
  •  Build collaborative relationships with the Performance marketing counterpart in each of our key brands as well as their wider team. Ensure they are fully bought into our seasonal calendar and marketing strategies/activities.
  •  Understanding brand partner budgets, opportunities and commercial needs and how we can take support and partner on.

 


Qualifications

  •  Full understanding and proven track record of delivering outstanding integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of marketing channels and project management skills
  • Excellent planning and management skills
  • Advanced communicator
  • Passion for football is prefered but not required
  • Keynote/ Powerpoint


Additional Information

The person:

  • Prior experience of working in fashion, sport, lifestyle or retail
  •  3+ years marketing experience
  •  Enjoys working in a highly collaborative 'best idea wins' environment to execute whilst also juggling multiple priorities
