    With the launch of Everlast Gyms we have a great opportunity to join our exciting ground-breaking fitness brand that incorporates a hybrid of boutique group exercise studios and a traditional gym floor, with extensive functional zones, and studios that set us apart as the new number one contender of the UK fitness industry.

    We are looking for an Area Manager who is passionate about health and fitness.  As an Area Manager you will have a strong commercial awareness to coach, support and progress your General Managers by providing inspirational leadership on how to think without limits, own it  and act to achieve and surpass their objectives whilst managing the financial risk implications.

    The successful candidate will be  inspiring and affective in leading a team of driven General Managers who are all working towards the same Goals and Targets.

    As Area Manager you will be people focused and need to demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities understanding that the continued growth and development of your team will ultimately be the key to the growth of your business.

    Job Description

    • To develop and influence relationships with General Managers to ensure everyone is achieving their goals and targets.
    • To show evidence of coaching, supporting, and developing teams through the performance management framework.
    • To oversee staff to ensure deadlines are met.
    • To time manage and meet deadlines on projects.
    • To demonstrate tangible commercial results.
    • To develop strategic plans to encourage business growth to interpret results against targets.
    • To identify and evolve business opportunities to increase profitability.
    • To analyse and present key data
    • To work to a Measured Performance Management framework system with General Managers able to set personal objectives for appraisal scoring.
    • To assess risk and make recommendations based on analysis of all factors affecting a business situation.
    • To manage and influence revenue streams across all areas of the business.
    • To help develop and grow Membership head count and Direct Debit by exploring new avenues.
    • To have a full understanding of account management profit and loss.
    • To understand the commercial management of our fitness product.
    • To have extensive understanding of the industry to grow the Personal training revenue. This includes increasing the Direct Debit income through 1-2-1 and group PT.
    • To invest interest in the swimming lessons and all other 3rd party providers.
    • To have a good understanding of the industry and current market, keeping your knowledge constantly updated.
    • To have good communication skills for an all-important aspect of the role in developing relationships with staff by way of frequent visits and regular conference calls.
    • To develop relationships with 3rd parties and external points of contact to increase revenue.
    • To be organised and manage your time effectively.
    • To have a consistent brand standard across the area.
