Conrad London St James is in the centre of London and?one of Hiltons three Luxury Brands reflects modern luxury. The hotel is renowned for its excellent service and is in the top 5% of hotels in London and the Top 10 % in the world. Located in the heart of Westminster, the new outlets within the hotel will offer its teams the opportunity to join one of this year's most exciting new and promising openings, with the support, standards and luxury service the Conrad is famous for. They will consist of: The Blue Boar Pub, opened May 2021, which is a contemporary take on a British pub The Hedgerow, the hotel’s first cocktail bar, which takes inspiration from the beauty of the traditional British countryside The Pem, a glamourous and elegant restaurant in the centre of the hotel showcasing classic British cuisine using modern techniques The Orchard, for afternoon teas and lighter meals Attached is a video of our General Manager showing around the hotel. Introducing Luxurious Elegance in London - Conrad London St.James - YouTube What will I be doing? The office is open from 8am to 7pm. The shift patterns are - start times 8am, 10am or 11am, each being 8-hour shift. Shift patterns vary as per business needs. Weekends working – two Saturdays per month Ensure the accurate administration of all bookings for bedrooms or restaurant reservations and related correspondences including billing details Manage telephone, fax and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company strategy & standards ensuring accuracy and attention to details at all times. Maintain a high level of product knowledge about the hotel and local area Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate; and reservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure guest satisfaction Complete arrival quality checks in line with company standards Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest's expectation Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotels brand standards To be responsible for the successful planning and overall execution of small events, dinners, lunches, afternoon teas, etc. that take place within the hotel. Ensures to interact frequently with customers and Guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships from which to earn repeat and expanded business. Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and secure incremental revenue for the hotel Exceptional customer service level to ensure that expectation is exceeded and repeat business is secured Responsible that all BEO’s / Group Sheets are handed over to the Food and Beverage Operations Team / Front Office Team every week for the following 7- 10 days outline and that all the information is accurate, confirmed and billing details documented and in line with the credit policy. To conduct show rounds, pre con meetings, post meeting if requested. What are we looking for? A Reservations Sales Agent serving Conrad London St James is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: A passion for delivering great customer service A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills Outstanding administration and organizational skills Intermediate computer proficiency It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Previous experience in a Reservations environment Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree What we offer: A global travel program for team members Uniforms Meals whilst on duty To be part of a fabulous team About Conrad St James
