Job Description
Managing overall HR functions on manpower budgeting, recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, payroll, employee and industrial relations. To review, formulate, develop and implement HR policies and SOPs to ensure compliance to statutory requirements and to meet business expectations
- Plan and prepare annual manpower budget.
- Responsible for recruiting suitable candidates to support the business's staffing plan and business growth through available channels, including to conduct interview for pivotal positions.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits policies based on corporate policy and market practices by collecting and update market data through C&B surveys or other valid resources to make sure the current practice is competitive.
- Plan and manage annual performance appraisal exercise, promotions, salary review and bonus payout by ensuring a competitive salary and benefits packages.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy and timely payment of monthly payroll and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Handling all matters related to disciplinary actions, grievances, counselling, staff misconducts and provide appropriate actions to be taken.
- Maintain a positive employee and/or labor relations environment; communicate with respective departmental heads on operational and HR issues, facilitate employee and manager communications and problem solving, assist managers with legal compliance through education and monitoring.
- Plan, develop and implement HR policies and procedures covering full spectrum of HR functions.
- Keep abreast with the latest HR development practices and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization.
- To provide HR Information System related training to subordinates.
Qualifications
A degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies or its equivalent
At least 10 years hands on working experience in managerial position with exposure as HR Generalist in manpower budgeting, recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, payroll, employee and industrial relations.
Preferably candidate from retail / FMCG industry
Conversant with Employment Act and others related legal requirements
Good leadership, people management and communication skills
High integrity and adaptable personality, meticulous, organized and committed
Must have good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot, Vlookup & etc)
Attention to details, proactive and be able to work in a fast pace environment
