POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the Golf Operations Associate is to provide a high level of service, customer care and retail experience.  To provide administrative and customer support for the golf department and act as a point of contact for guests to provide a variety of Hotel product information.

Other duties of the role include providing a telephone service to guests and suppliers to provide information surrounding tee timings, prices, Hotel Food & Beverage services and membership at individual and corporate levels.  To maximise all sales opportunities to help achieve maximum green fee occupancy, whilst promoting customer loyalty to Marriott.

Recognise opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott experience or event.  Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.  The required person will be a strong verbal communicator, punctual and reliable and of good grooming standards.

Specific areas of work include;

• The 'Starters Hut'
• The Golf retail outlet
• The driving range
• Maintaining golf buggy allocation

This is a full time (40 hour) position that will require weekend working.
