Restaurant Duty Manager - Bognor Regis, West Sussex

We're looking for a Duty Manager to join the team at our Firehouse Grill restaurant, our guest's favourite for chicken!  

The Firehouse Grill is a busy, bustling venue, welcoming hundreds of guests each week. Whether it's a quick bite for lunch, a relaxed dinner after watching a show or just chilling out with a sumptuous cocktail whilst the children play on our outdoor play area, as a Duty Manager you'll be vital in helping our guest's create smiles - getting stuck in to give them memories that will last a lifetime!

It's always showtime at Butlin's! You'll be part of a big team of people who are responsible for providing our guests with an altogether more fun and entertaining holiday.

The purpose of this role is to:
*Role-model behaviour by leading the way as a visible presence in the venue, delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests
*Lead and develop the team with support of the manager
*Demonstrate effective communication and ensure your team are up to date with relevant information
*Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness within the team and the venue
*Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation
*With the support of the manager, have the ability to analyse KPI's to control food costs and labour
*Be able to follow and implement stock control systems to maximise gross profit margin

We're looking for candidates who:
*Have experience of working in a leadership role in a volume-driven restaurant environment
*Level 2 in Food Hygiene is essential, Level 3 Food Hygiene is desirable 
*Knowledge of stocktaking, labour control and health and safety practises in busy catering environments
*Hold a personal license (desirable)
*Thrive when working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
*Are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests and visitors

Salary expectations: 23,000 per annum and inclusion into the bonus scheme of 5%

We believe that your experience in a similar role will mean that you understand systems and processes such as labour budgets, food safety and health & safety, stock taking and delivering a positive gross profit
