The Sales Manager - MICE | On Site |

To drive the C&E revenue by penetrating the local and international marketplaces, securing and increasing the productivity of existing  accounts. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and drive total account management with key MICE clients and agents, providing a fundamental role in the delivery of the departmental budget and objectives.
  • Initiate and drive total account management with key regional and international corporate clients and agents, providing a fundamental role in the delivery of the departmental budget and objectives.
  • Deliver and excel in individual set monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Identify and establish an extensive listing of new business opportunities.
  • Organise comprehensive information to existing and potential customers with regards to the product range and strategic solutions offered by the hotel, with the aid of the relevant sales resources and sales channels.
  • Expand new customer acquisitions and manage relationships with existing guests and key contacts.
  • Monitor, analyse and present all sales results alongside implementation of strategic account management plans.
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel and engage with internal stakeholders.

Additional Tasks:

  • Preferred candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years pro-active sales experience within the hospitality and ideally within both MICE segments.
  • The candidate will be a self-motivator and extremely passionate and driven to secure incremental business opportunities.
  • Researches and helps to identify business opportunities for Hilton London Bankside and reports findings to management accordingly.
  • Supports Director of Sales in drawing up the sales action plan of the respective segments and drawing up of sales targets based on an exact market analysis
  • Required to plan, co-ordinate and implement sales trips by agreement with the Director of Sales in the most efficient and optimal way.
  • Organise site visits, offsite client meetings and presentations
  • Attend Fam trips and networking events
  • Undertake sales trips within the territory as required and determined by annual marketing plan
  • Coordinate any required administrative work in terms of reporting of figures, account forecasts and drawing up account development plans within the time frame given and the quality expected.
  • Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in drawing up analysis of competitors (rates, trends, customers, product changes) and market statistics, to be shared with the team and all direct and indirect stakeholders.
