Status: 37.5 Hours per week
Contract terms: Permanent
Location: Borehamwood, Herts with the opportunity for hybrid working from home for part of the week.

Reporting in: UI/ UX Designer, Junior Designer, Marketing Executive

Description:

In this role as Digital Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal part of our Marketing transformation, by focussing on the digital customer journey, acquisition, and retention to deliver a step change in our digital landscape driving revenue growth.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager we require a talented digital expert with experience developing a customer acquisition model for a B2C business. You will lead our digital customer acquisition marketing strategy, tactics, planning, execution, and optimisation. Our ideal candidate is highly analytical, data driven, and confident to report to senior stakeholders on the progress of business objectives, including acquiring new customers, and enhancing customer experience.

The role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Digital Acquisition Manager

Lead, implement and optimise our multi-channel digital acquisition strategy, working collaboratively with the Customer Marketing Manager and PR & Partnerships Manager to ensure business objectives are reached with maximum efficiency and to develop a cohesive funnel approach.

  • Lead and activate digital marketing strategy primarily utilising Search, Social, Programmatic Display & Video.
  • Based on the strategy, prepare annual and monthly marketing budgets, create a calendar of BAU activity and campaigns, monitor competitors and the market to optimise effectively. 
  • Analyse and report data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and efficiency of spends.
  • Deliver against KPIs, optimising against customer lifetime value to meet annual forecast and goals.
  • Provide results and recommendations to develop our customer marketing infrastructure, to enable a seamless customer experience from online to offline.
  • Work with development and product teams to ensure user experience is as frictionless as possible and make recommendations to improve conversion rates at each step of the user flow.
  • Champion innovation and developments in the performance marketing landscape, including new, cutting-edge programs across web, mobile and digital extensions. 
  • Create and communicate best practice customer journey maps and marketing automation workflows for each customer segment. 
  • Maintain agency relationships by setting goals, providing media assets, performance feedback, and managing budgets.
  • Develop recommendations to reach new customers through desktop and mobile campaigns, work collaboratively with the Customer Marketing Manager on the creative and messaging strategy.
  • Manage creative, ad, and landing page testing schedule to drive improved campaign results.
  • Work with internal operations, developers, and planning teams to maximise the impact of inflow of customers.
  • Demonstrate good business acumen and understanding of commercial and ROI metrics.
  • Data driven decision making, we place the customer at the heart of everything we do.

About you:

  • 5+ years relevant experience, minimum 2 years in digital customer acquisition in a direct response environment.
  • Agency background or experience working with digital media agencies from an in-house role.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Math, or a related analytical field.
  • Technical knowledge of Programmatic trading, and PPC advertising including Paid Social, Paid Search and Display. 
  • Demonstrable experience of running complex website(s), booking systems, and providing digital channel management. 
  • Experience adding value through web management techniques such as SEO and CRO, and using web analytics tools such as Google suite, Ads and Analytics.
  • You take a customer-centric approach to digital optimisation, with demonstrable experience putting data and insights into action.
  • Understanding of Facebook Business Manager, paid social, search, mobile media, affiliate marketing, display media, and sponsored content campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, planning, and project management skills.
  • Basic HTML and CMS knowledge
