Summary

Join our great team!Our Facilities Co-ordinators keep our hubs running to provide the best possible working environment and support for our key teams dedicated to conserving, protecting and promoting our special places. What it's like to work here

You will be based at our Grasmere Regional Hub to help us co-ordinate compliance and maintenance in the Hub. We have three other Hubs within the North region and you'll be part of our newly recruited team of Facilities Co-ordinators. You'll also be part of the wider Business Services team who support the Consultancy and Regional Management Team. 

What you'll be doing

As the Facilities Co-ordinator you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of an efficient, effective, flexible facilities service to enable the successful operation of our Grasmere Regional Hub.  You’ll support the team to meet its objectives by ensuring high standards are delivered and always maintained.  You’ll be assisting with the provision of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs, supervising cleaning contractors, preparation of meeting rooms and the co-ordination for services such as deliveries and collections from the Hub.

  • Experience in a facilities role in a customer service environment
  • Flexible, customer focussed approach with understanding of good customer service standards
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use tools, equipment as required for the role
  • Willingness to work alongside volunteers and is able to support volunteers to perform at their best
  • Ability to multi-task and work in collaboration with other departments
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
