You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something. You will be part of a small team responding to telephone calls and e-mails from potential visitors and as such will need to be able to work a rota covering one weekend in four.

Hours and contract: 30.75 hrs per week, permanent contract.

What it's like to work here

Chartwell was the much-loved Churchill family home and the place from which Sir Winston drew inspiration from 1924 until the end of his life and draws visitors from around the world. Emmetts Garden is an Edwardian plantsman’s paradise with a shrub collection from around the world, and it attracts families, dog walkers and horticultural experts alike. Quebec House is a beautiful Georgian mansion that requires ongoing maintenance and works to protect the incredible collection, and you would support all of these sites.

You are supported by a strong and knowledgeable Facilities and business services team. We believe in collaboration and transparency and work together on ours and our teams’ personal development to ensure we have pride in all that we do.

What you'll be doing

Known for your exceptional organisational skills and your love of delivering first class support, you’ll provide a comprehensive administration service to your property team and to our visitors. As well as looking after finances, you’ll be confident using a variety of IT packages to create reports, keep accurate records, and communicate across the site and with our visitors. You’ll run a tight ship, and will soon be the go to person for the team, helping us to achieve best customer service and back of house record keeping.
