Director of Leisure Sales - Central London
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Director of Leisure Sales to join our talented Sales and Marketing team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of a Director of Leisure Sales, your key focus will be to:
- create and implement strategies for gaining market share
- lead and drive Travel Industry sales team to achieve their annual KPI goals
- effectively contribute to overall Retail FIT success and strategy
- be the segment leader for leisure markets and partnerships; e.g. Amex FH&R, Virtuoso, Traveller Made
- be the leader for specialist markets - e.g. Entertainment, Middle East
- identify developing and emerging international markets, with a focus on high-end leisure, assessing potential for incoming fam trips and/or sales trips
- focus on building brand awareness in the USA market by spending at least 10 days every two months on sales trips within that territory
- personally undertake sales calls, tradeshow and industry events, either representing The Langham, London or assisting GSO London colleagues
Do you have?
- previous experience in a senior pro-active sales role within similar style and size property and market segment
- established prominent key stakeholder contacts within your sales market
- excellent communication skills
- sales/account management and business development skills
- strong leadership skills and previous experience of team management is essential
- previous use of Opera and Delphi systems (advantageous)
