Crook Log Leisure Centre is located in the heart of Bexleyheath. Crook Log is a very busy leisure centre with a 200 station gym and swimming pool, offering a wide range of activities for the local community.

The Opportunity

• We are looking for a Trainee Duty Manager who is passionate about working in the leisure industry
• You will oversee the centre operations and support the management team in the day-to-day running of the Centre, including health and safety, customer service and financial procedures
• You will ideally have Leisure industry experience and an interest in a career in leisure and have a passion for service excellence and commitment to developing knowledge and experience
• Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in leading and managing the operational team.

The Person

• We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual ideally looking to progress their career into management but feel they need to undergo the relevant training to get them there
• You will be required to work 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends
• It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service
• The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry

• A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable but not essential as we can fully fund the course.
