Housekeeping Assistant - Caernarfon, Gwynedd

YHA Snowdon Pen-y-pass are currently looking for 2 housekeeping team members to join the team, 10 to 15 hours per week.  These roles may suit a parent or carer who needs a role to fit around the school run as ideally looking for hours between 10am and 3pm to be covered.

Due to the location of the hostel own transport is needed for these roles and hours, however, we do have other positions with the potential to have staff accommodation so please get in touch...

YHA Snowdon Pen-y-pass is a popular hostel for many reasons not least the amazing mountainous views from the hostel and the famous past of the building.  It is a busy site, with guests accessing the facilities throughout the day, a friendly team is key to our success.

Our Housekeeping assistants will clean and prepare our rooms and public areas for the arrival of our guests.  Bed making can include making bunk beds, and some rooms are multiple occupancy/dormitory style accommodation.  Bathrooms are both private ensuite and communal with showers and toilets (no baths) to be cleaned.

Housekeeping Assistant skills and experience:

It’s an advantage but not essential that our team members have worked in a face-to-face role with customers previously. Experience** in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential as full training is provided including the safe use and storage of all cleaning products.
