This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader, committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

Located in the heart of the town, the newly refurbished Kettering Swimming Pool comprises a 25 metre swimming pool and 24 station gym.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of the centre including health and safety, customer care and leading and managing staff. An NPLQ is essential and First Aid at Work certificate and Pool Plant Operators qualification are desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering customer excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the centres including health and safety, customer care, financial procedures and leading and managing multiple departments. The posts include early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts, worked over 40 hours per week.

The Person

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential and a Pool Plant Operators Qualification and a First Aid at Work certificate is desirable.

The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and a good level of experience of working in a face paced facility. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a total commitment to customer service are essential. Successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.
