Chefs / Kitchen Assistants - Capel Curig, Betws-Y-Coed 

Zip World is about to head into its busiest time of year and is on the lookout for positive go-getters to join our team!

You will be based within one of the five Zip World sites, which includes Zip World Slate Caverns in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Zip World Fforest in Betws-y-Coed, Zip World Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda, Zip World Tower in Rhigos South Wales and the Tyn y Coed Hotel, Capel Curig.

Your accountabilities are:

• Basic food preparation and cooking (training given)
• Unloading deliveries
• Organising the storeroom
• Collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery
• Getting pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use quickly
• Washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Making sure kitchen equipment is properly stored
• Removing and recycling waste from the kitchen

Essential Requirements and skills

• The ability to carry out tasks quickly
• The ability to work on your own and use your initiative
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• The ability to follow instructions
• No previous kitchen experience necessary as full training will be given
• A positive attitude and a desire to progress to higher chef levels once trained
