Assistant Manager Vacancy - Ashton Under Lyne - Up to £28,500

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our front of house management team at our lovely Carvery pub, the Sheldon Arms, Ashton Under Lyne

About the role:

As an Assistant Manager you’ll know how to get the best from your team by offering great service and motivation where needed. This is a great opportunity for a General Manager in the making and although we want you to be yourself it’s key that customer service along with making memorable events is something you are passionate about. You’ll be an expert in communication and know how to work well as part of a team as well as taking the lead and running shifts.

You’ll have previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a similar hospitality or retail role and have confidence in yourself to have the ability to develop to the next level.

Where you will be working: 

The Sheldon Arms is a busy family pub and carvery located just outside Ashton town centre and just off junction 22 of the M60.  It offers excellent guest service and are famed for their fresh, delicious carvery.  All food is freshly prepared to order from breakfast to the indulgent traditional style pub grub.
