The Cardiff Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of Cardiff and has a range of picturesque views which take in the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Bay and Castell Coch. These represent only a few of the activities available in the centre of Cardiff where there are other cultural and sporting institutions, as well as the Motorpoint arena and the National Assembly of Wales.

The Cardiff Marriott hotel caters for a whole range of guests by providing both a personal and friendly service, alongside our exceptional facilities, including our Market Kitchen Restaurant and our Leisure club. The Role Itself and the Duties Involved  

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Conference and Banqueting department for a Casual Conference and Banqueting Associate. The role itself is a casual position and you will be expected to be flexible regarding the hours worked.

Main Duties Include:

• To ensure a smooth service delivery within the Banqueting function is delivered to at all times.
• To set-up and ensure function room layout is to the customers specification
• To carry out all reasonable requests given by a shift leader, supervisor or Manager.
• To ensure that Company standards and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times.

 

Qualifications and Skills

There are a range of qualifications, skills and characteristics we are looking for to successfully fill this role. These include:

• Some previous Food & Beverage serving experience within with in a 4 star hotel environment or similar
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work alone and within a team.
• Strong communication skills, with a good level of English.
