Job Title: Fitness Instructor 

Location: Tenterden Leisure Centre, Tenterden, TN30 6RA

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours/Pattern: 20 hours per week,  between Monday to Sunday

Salary: £6.83 to £9.50 per hour + Excellent benefits

 

Here at Tenterden Leisure centre our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Fitness Instructor to join the centre.

  

As the fitness instructor you will provide coaching and guidance to our customers and provide a friendly, welcoming and sociable environment. You will provide advice, guidance and encouragement to customers in accordance with the Customer Intimacy Health and Fitness programme.

 

The role will involve a high level of customer interaction and there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.

 

You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities and free membership plus other various discounts.

 

About you

 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required.

 

You will also have a good standard of personal presentation, communication and customer service skills.

 

It is essential that you have a REPS level 2 for you to be considered for this role and be actively working towards advanced instructor qualification (level 3)

 

Although not essential, having either a working background or interest in the leisure industry would be beneficial in your application.
