Trampoline Coach | Bangor Aurora

Location: Bangor Aurora, 3 Valentine Road, Co-Down, N. Ireland, BT20 4TH

Working Hours/Pattern: 14 hours per week between Monday to Friday

Salary: £15.14 Per Hour, £11,013.44 Per annum + excellent benefits

Here at Bangor Aurora Leisure our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for Trampoline Coaches to join our centre.

Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is a £38 m leisure facility which includes the development of Northern Ireland’s first FINA standard 50 metre swimming pool and a £15 m investment from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) administered by Sport Northern Ireland.  The complex offers an excellent choice of sporting and leisure facilities.

The main purpose of this role is to deliver a professional and fun trampoline programme in line with Northern Community Leisure Trust (NCLT) and British Gymnastics (BG) pathways. To support the Sport Development Manager (SDM) and Sport Development Officer (SDO) in making certain that BG guidelines are adhered to, and that safety and welfare of the gymnasts is always paramount. Be an ambassador for NCLT in the way sessions are delivered and in which you conduct yourself.

We share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities.  You will also receive staff discounts which include gym, canteen, and free parking.

About You

To be considered for this role you will hold a British Trampoline Level 2 or appropriate (however you will be considered if you are working towards this), have experience in delivering structured coaching sessions and have High standards of personal delivery and ability to hold participants accountable to those standards while not infringing on the development or enjoyment of the participant.

You will be enthusiastic, resilient and be able to liaise professionally with customers and our coaching team. Lastly, you must also be able to be patient and understanding of the needs of the gymnasts and the centre in delivering the programme.

If you feel you meet the above criteria, then please apply now
