Planet Organic was established in 1995 and we currently have 8 stores in London with over 300 employees. We are a health food specialist; selling only the freshest, healthiest and most delicious organic or natural food that customers can find, as well as the finest organic skincare, books, juices and take away food.

Each item in every store has been handpicked and carefully chosen. We think long and hard about what’s in our products, how they've been grown and how far they have to travel, so that our customers don’t have to. It’s not just about hard work:

Principal Accountabilities

Operations

• To contribute to the team’s ability achieves its departmental targets and objectives

Customer Service Standards

• Know and demonstrate by example Planet Organic’s customer service standards
• Contribute to the team’s ability to effectively deliver the company’s service standards

People, Training & Development

• Demonstrate a flexible approach to teamwork, and a  willingness to learn
• Be responsible for one’s own training and development by proactively participating in achieving the Planet Organic Certificate
• Attend/complete trainings as necessary

Merchandising & Stock Management

• Assist in stock rotation
• Assist with stock takes: this may require working additional hours from time to time

Systems & Procedures

• Follow correct opening and closing procedures
• Operate equipment correctly and safely
• Check off deliveries and report any issues or discrepancies to the Head Chef/Sous Chef
• Complete any associated paperwork/records as required
• Prioritise tasks in a timely fashion and follow instructions correctly according to procedure
• Assist with ensuring that all HACCP, Health & Safety and Soil Association procedures are adhered to and properly recorded; this includes temperature checks, cleanliness, hygiene, Soil Association log sheet
