Staff Bus Driver - The Angel Inn / The Coniston Inn - Cumbria

The Inn Collection Group is rapidly expanding in the Lake District and as we approach our busiest time of year, we need to creatively staff all our inns. This involves reaching out far and wide for the best talent to give our customers the ICG service they know and love.

With that in mind, we have a new and unique role that offers flexibility around a core task of transporting our team to and from our Lakes Inns from Barrow-in-Furness (Furness College).

Transportation will be required in the morning at 9am to the site and pickup from the inn to come back to the college will be between 3 and 4pm. Journey time is up to an hour so this is expected to be around 4 hours per day Monday to Friday.

Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence and must either provide a valid DBS certificate or successfully go through the process before commencing the role. Company vehicle (7 seater) will be provided and there may be a requirement for you to keep this vehicle at your property whilst on duty.

A Successful Driver Will:

• be prompt and meticulous about timekeeping
• be conscientious
• be a good communicator, keeping everyone up to date with changing situations
• be polite and respectful of their passengers
• be resourceful in the face of unexpected challenges
• be over 25 (min requirement for our insurance)
• hold a full, clean UK driving licence

Duties Include:

• transportation safely of team members to and from their site
• ensuring all expected team are present on the journey
• reporting to the general managers any staff absences or no-shows
• keeping the vehicle well maintained, clean and presentable
• safety of yourself and team members when travelling
• aiding the inns with any additional requests where appropriate
