About the role

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will work across the Group partnering with various Pets at Home Group functions. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the digital marketing strategy with the core objective of attracting group customers and clients through PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Display and Affiliate marketing channels.

You’ll be an experienced, enthusiastic senior digital marketer used to working either client or agency side.

Some key areas of focus in the role are: 

  • Digital Campaign Management - Planning, developing, and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns, marketing communications and tactical activities via paid digital channels
  • Performance Marketing - Management of overall traffic targets and generating customer acquisition online, including but not limited to PPC, affiliates, paid social, and display marketing
  • Reporting / KPIs - Developing, setting, and monitoring key performance indicators across multiple strategic marketing campaigns
  • Line and Stakeholder Management - Managing & mentoring a team of digital specialists to leverage, optimise and grow all digital performance channels
  • Customer centric & Digital Transformation – Utilising CRM data and overseeing the implementation of new technologies, including Mar-tech development

 About you

Experience required for this role includes: 

  • It is essential that you have digital marketing experience, ideally gained within a retailer or a digital agency.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Strong management experience with the ability to mentor and develop others
  • You’ll be able to think both at a strategic level, campaign performance level and can be ‘hands on’ with the optimisation of each channel
  • You’ll have a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice (i.e., cookie compliance, first party data collection processes, GDPR compliance)

Desirable experience: 

  • Experience in utilising CRM data within acquisition channels 
  • Operational and implementation experience of Mar-tech
  • CIM or Digital Marketing qualification
  • Facebook Blueprint
  • Google Analytics Academy
  • ASA or CAP trained
