We are looking for a experienced Duty Manager to start as soon as possible to help us operate one of our flagship sites. The club features state of the art gym, studios, Treatment Rooms, a Swimming Pool, and Thermal areas.

As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for working alongside the Club Manager in the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents and their guests.

The work bit:

Your job will be to support the Club Manager and work alongside a small team. There will be other services too, such as beauty treatments, external group exercise teachers, and personal trainers. It’s a health club so it is shift work but we think you guessed that!

You will have operational responsibilities such as health and safety checks, pool, and plant management. You may be required to teach some group exercise sessions, take customers through fitness assessments and prescribe exercise programs. Our customers are typically residents (often wealthy) but we also have a client too, and then there is the developer who spent all the money! Lots of relationships and the need for you to be always at your best, always thinking smart, like the very best politician

Some things we would like you to have (but they might not be deal-breakers)

A fitness qualification (minimum level 2)

Two years fitness industry experience and ideally in a 5-star or luxury environment

Good written and verbal communication skills

The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel to a good standard

RLSS Emergency Responder qualified

Most importantly, you will need all the traits that make you destined for greatness! So, you will need to be a good communicator, a good organizer, someone with resilience, someone willing to learn.

We will help and we will train you, but to use a tech analogy, you will need the hardware for us to load the software. You get the picture!
