Administrative Officer (Bromley Libraries and Library Division) - Bromley Central Library (18 hours hours per week)

21,422 - 26,401 (36 hours a week Pro rata) 

 

GLL is looking for a part time Administrative Officer based in Bromley Libraries and Middlegate House. The postholders will be part of the Admin Team that supports Bromley Libraries, the National Libraries Director and the GLL Libraries Division.

 

You'll undertake a range of tasks including answering emails, raising purchase orders and invoices, and co-ordinating leave and sickness information using CoreHR and other systems as needed.

 

You'll maintain the Bromley Libraries timetable ensuring staff are allocated to service points to ensure all services open to scheduled hours. Work includes planning rosters in advance, co-ordinating annual leave requests, recording absence and then providing cover for absence as required.

 

You'll have experience in general administration and have great communication and interpersonal skills. You'll also have a good understanding of IT packages such as Microsoft Office. Time management will be important as will working well under pressure whilst still maintaining accuracy in all that you do. You should be a good team player, but also be confident managing your own workload.
